A Bread Board Model of a spaceborne hydrogen maser atomic clock for the satellite positioning system using Quasi-Zenith Satellites has been developed. Anal-
ysis and experiments for technical problems such as miniaturization, achievement of long life, mechanical vibration proo¯ng, and space environment characteristics have been performed, and technical data necessary for EM development have been obtained.
